Our client, based in Belfast, are looking for Part-time Lecturer in Electronics.
The person who fills this post will need to be flexible. The delivery is for apprenticeship programmes and skill bootcamps therefore the hours will fluctuate at times.
As this is a PTL role, rate of pay will vary depending on the level of the courses delivered – most course will be at L3 (courses at NVQ Level 3/BTEC National programmes) which attracts £30.77 per hour. Some course may be at a higher level therefore will be paid at £36.03 per hour (e.g. courses at HNC/Higher National programmes).
This post is to provide delivery/ internal assessment/ preparation and practical electronic – soldering / measurement and testing activities for electronics and communication skills development in apprenticeship programmes.
Approximately 21 hours per week on rotation.
These hours will deviate depending on the stage of programme delivery
3 months with possibility of extension
Suitable candidates must:
EITHER possess a degree (Level 6) in Electrical/Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering AND at least 1 year’s relevant industry experience (in last 5 preferred)
OR possess an HND Electrical/Electronic Engineering AND 3 years' relevant industry experience (in last 5 preferred)
Soldering Fault finding
English GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Essential Skills level 2, or an equivalent qualification.
Maths GCSE (Grade C or above) OR Essential Skills level 2 or an equivalent qualification.
